The Blue Rack is our Station.

The recording booth does live broadcasts.

Two Selectmen rooms are fully instrumented.

The School Superintendant's office is fully equiped.

We have an editing station at Emerson School.

The Blue Rack   Channel 10 is currently operating out of the first floor of Bolton Town Hall. We anticipate establishing a studio and editing room in the 1922 "old part" of Emerson School in the Spring of 2007.

The primary Comcast cable "feed point" is located beside our blue rack. We can send programs into the Comcast cable system on Channel 10.

Both the Selectmen's meeting room, and the large first floor meeting room are set up for videotaping.  Meetings in either room are recorded directly into an "ImageServer 2000" from 360 Systems,  by 5 ceiling-mounted Sony "cams" which are remotely controlled from our rack. 4 microphones in each room allow us to clearly hear the members of the board or committee at the main table, as well as members of the audience.

An audio mixer allows us to adjust the volume of the 4 microphones which are installed in each meeting room.

The most important piece of equipment we have is our ImageServer 2000 from 360 Systems. This is a specialized computer system which stores all of Channel 10's programs as digital files. Programs are broadcast on Channel 10 based on a schedule stored in the ImageServer 2000 "play list."

A bank of 3 monitors allows us to view the camera's "eye" during a live broadcast, and simultaneously see exactly what is going out live on Channel 10.

A VPN recently installed by Amaranth Systems of Bolton has given us a powerful remote-control capability to operate the Imageserver 2000 from our homes.
